Museum Workshops

Every term we run range of school workshops at our Museum ranging from Chinese, Indian, Thai to Indonesian and Japanese music. Contact matthew@amc.org.uk or call 020 8742 9911 for further information.

We also offer tailor-made packages to suit different needs. We work with pupils from the age of 5-18. Owing to the diverse nature of our collections and the flexibility and skills of our team, we can adapt and tailor-make our offer to suit:

  • Different ages, abilities and needs
  • Various areas of learning, QCA schemes of work and subjects of the national curriculum

Workshops at our Museum include a tour of the museum, use of our interactive exhibits on display and access to the cloakroom. If you can't see what you want, please ask!

Let us know the area/region/form of dance or music you would like to focus on for your class, and consider what time session you would prefer (early morning, mid morning or afternoon). For practical information, further details on rates, and bookings, contact matthew@amc.org.uk or 020 8742 9911. To find other school workshops across the UK, see findschoolworkshops.co.uk.

School visits

If you're not based in London, we can arrange for our artists to visit your school.

Recent workshops include Afghan music and Chinese new year workshops in the Lake district, though we can prepare projects in Indian, Thai, Japanese music and more - please get in touch with matthew@amc.org.uk or call 020 8742 9911.
